Who we are

Military Archive is an independent reference encyclopedia of military equipment, nations, and conflicts, operated by a private individual based in Türkiye. For any privacy request, use the contact page.

What we collect

Contact form: when you write to us, we receive the name and email address you provide, plus your message. We use these only to read and reply to your message.

Server and security logs: like any website, our infrastructure provider (Railway) and our network provider (Cloudflare) automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do NOT use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do NOT set tracking cookies. There is no cookie banner because no non-essential cookies are used.

Fonts loaded from Google

The site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches these fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google. We are working to self-host fonts to remove this transfer. You can prevent it by blocking third-party requests in your browser.

Legal basis and purpose

We process contact-form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you. We process technical/security logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell or rent your data. Data is processed by our hosting (Railway) and network (Cloudflare) providers solely to run the site. We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request, then delete them.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under Türkiye’s KVKK and the EU/UK GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to processing. To exercise any right, contact us through the contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date below shows the latest version.
